I was impressed with your intention to paint in the wild, but no art is worth your life...if you were bitten by a poisonous snake or broke a leg out there!  I'm sorry...I'm just that way.  I was wowed by your painting...should have been more generous in showing us the steps...but I can understand that you probably don't want imitators.  Excellent adventure!

Several people have asked me to upload an image of the painting I did in this video, and also asked which medium I used and how long it took me to paint. Here are some answers:                                                                                       I used oil on a 6"x8" canvas panel. I like this size because I can finish pretty quickly.  The actual painting took about three hours which is longer than it usually takes but I was filming at the same time and had to stop a lot to move the camera out of the sun. Painting plein air is always a challenge. Filming yourself doing it kind of kicks the challenge up a notch!                                                             I uploaded an image of the piece to my profile page and to my website. There is a better resolution version of the video on my website, also.  Stop by and leave me a comment:  www.artistinthewild.com        Thanks a lot for your interest!
