My favorite music is the Gregorian Chants. I enjoy any Baroque music such as Bach and Vivaldi.

I was born in Tucson, Arizona, and I have lived in Mexico City, Mexico, Phoenix, Chicago, Boston, and I am now currently residing in PA.

I have my BFA in Fine Arts, I have exhibited extensively in group and solo exhibitions, painted three public project murals, and I was published in a Latin American artbook. For an in depth view of my Bio, Statement and Resume, you are welcome to visit my web site at:

My current goal as an artist is to promote my art, and to seek gallery representation.

Painting has been the love of my life. What motivates me to create is that I don't know what the subject matter will be. I find this process very invigorating. I believe that I am simply a paint brush that is being guided by the Holy Spirit. Of course technique, a sense of color, etc. is involved, but the actual images painted are inspired by the Holy Spirit. At times a comical or whimsical subject matter will be portrayed, but when I see that a Holy painting is to be completed, it puts a heavy burden on me to do my best to rise to the occasion. These paintings, as a result, are very special. I call them Sacred Art.

Also please feel free to visit my blog at:

I have a passion for making jewelry and crafts in general. I love in particular primitive jewelry.

Veronica, your work is stunning, intuitive, colorful - magical. Thank you for sharing. It means a lot to me that an artist like yourself likes my work as well. Lea

the one on the chair is a paddle with the string and ball as the nose. It's called, Who Dropped the Ball?

Thanks!

I love the santeros too. My house has many memories from NM hanging on walls so those themes unconsciously show up in my work. One of my pieces was in a show where some girls came up and started talking about it. One pointed out it looked like Jesus with his hands out and the balls overhead were the disciples. Wow, never saw that coming, but realized later she had a point. Too much art history lurking in my brain. I started a blog yesterday, never have before but thought why not. I will have to find my "voice" (oh jeez that sounds pretty trite)

Take care

thank you for the nice comment. I am really enjoying your art. Having spent a lot of time in New Mexico I see images in your work that take me back. I will be checking in again, this is great viewing.
