Hi Vicki,

I stopped in here and took a look at your work, very intersting work.  I have a friend in Wis. www.lindadistel.com  you might like to take a pick at it.  You both the interesting landscapes.  "  Like painting with paper" I also know of a MCS member that is in McHenry area if your interested email me at lonecrow4@comcast.net and I'll pass along her email to you.  She also does some mixed media work.

Hi Vicki - thanks for the comment on my work. Well, I usually paint the figure first onto the canvas, and then I place the collage around it. I see you work with collage too - I  love the vibrant colors in your work. I think collage add something special in a painting. I'll make sure to come back to your site. Helene

nice work. i love the scrabble bits...i can't tell if its mixed media or really good photorealism on those, but overall a great piece.
