The piece you liked is 8 X 10 inches. I had extra paint left from another painting and I did not want to waste it so I use the palette knife and created the landscape within 5 minutes. Spontaneity is a wonderful think don't you think?

Thanks for the comment.  That piece is 48" x 36."  I usually work in that size or a little smaller.  I don't do watercolor, though.  I've done some in the past, but I prefer acrylic or oil.  I like your work, especially the portraiture pieces.  Really nice use of color and composition.

Thanx for the compliment on my work, yah some of the images are small but I will soon replace them with larger ones when I can find the cd I stored them on!

Hey, Thanks for your note about the color. It is gouache on Arches HP 140lb.I like the stance of that boy in your painting. Jen
