Well, let's see if an old dog can learn new tricks! I am slowly trying to add pix and stuff to this site. Who knows, some day I may even have a real website!
Meanwhile, for anyone interested, my process is to paint yardage, using mostly conventional textile paint, and then find the areas of the yardage to represent my image, cut them out, "drawing" with my rotary cutter, and hand sew them back together. After much experimentation, I have settled on stretching the finished pieces a la the paintings they resemble. My studiomate, an oil painter, says they are paintings and asks what I think canvas is? Fiber, of course!
Now if someone can tell me if there is an easy way (short of starting over) to change the name on my URL (I thought they were asking for a sign in ID and would prefer my name in the address) I would be reasonably content!
I look forward to hearing from others, especially other fiber artists.

Going through a major transition right now and haven't had much time to play with this site, but I like that I can actually do things without having to acquire serious new skills.
I gallery sat a show I am in this afternoon and as always, had wonderful conversations. A young woman, just graduated from college who is going, with her brother a documentary film maker, to Ghana for a year. She will paint what she sees and we suggested she bring a mini-disk recorder as well to have an auditory memory to go with her paintings and drawings. A woman with a BFA who had thought art a youthful enthusiasm long abandoned who now finds herself itchy to create. Another woman who has stopped worrying about her diverse artistic interests and decided to just enjoy the time she has.
If I am to live what I believe, that being an artist is about how one lives in the world, mindfully, then this is artistic endeavor!
