Thanks for visiting my site! I use black and colored inks, diluted, and colored pencil, with a little acrylic.

Thank you for your comment about my works.  While in Kenya/Tanzania I did many sketches and also took a lot of photos.  My work combines both along with the awesome feeling I got when I grew to know these amazing people.  I do most of the people in watercolor - and most of the wildlife are in oil or acrylic.  Your works are incredibly mood invoking!  I look forward to see more!  Judy

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my work.

Sometimes I do use collage, most frequently music. The patterns that appear to be stamped are made with blocks that I have carved. And I use acrylic paint on the blocks. I vary the way I use them, so the printed images have a lot of variation to them.

Thanks for your comments on my work!  Yes, Calder is one of my prime influences.  And truly unique -- there was no one quite like him before he showed up, and there hasn't been anyone since, really.

I love the light and transparency in your work!  And yet there is such mystery and atmosphere.  Great!

Hi Patti!

Thank you for visiting my work. I just had the pleasure of viewing your gallery and website. You have such a gentle way of portraying light. And I love the flow of your lines. It would have been fun to have you as a teacher in high school!
