Michele, thanks for taking time to look at my gallery and commenting on my two latest paintings. I used a darker colored linen canvas and left the canvas exposed on parts of paintings. I liked the combination of neutral tones.

I really like some of the pieces in your gallery, especially "Meters" - great composition...and "Resolve" very nice color tones. I haven't tried encaustic yet but I always am attracted to those types of works.

Thank you for your kind words about my tree, Michelle.  Looking through your gallery, I see that you also have a blue tree-- and it's really gorgeous.  Love the feeling from it.

The Queen Anne's Lace is scratchboard with watercolor tint on the leaves.  It was the first time I tried it- interesting, but I think I prefer ink.

thank you for your comment on my kurt cobain drawing. regarding my collaged pieces, they are all created digitally from photos, drawings or illustrations, combined with paintings, backgrounds, etc.
