I'm taking a time out and enjoying all the wonderful work on this site.
I just finished my work for a month long show. I will deliver my pieces tomorrow and they will be on display at the Tri-Lakes Center for the Arts (http://www.trilakesarts.org/) starting on June 7th. I'm tired, but it's a good tired feeling. I have a sense of accomplishment and I'm looking forward to the opening reception next Saturday. If you are in the Palmer Lake Colorado area, stop by the Center...it's right on highway 105. Reception starts at 5 PM and runs til 8.

My dreams are coming true and I have to share with the world. Yesterday, May 24, 2008, I had my first interview with a local gallery and I have been accepted as one of their artists! This is so exciting for me.
This affirmation, along with all the positive feedback I have received from the members of the Art Scuttlebutt community, nurtures my creative spirit. I'm one of those who has and probably will continue to suffer from the insecurity of "is my work good enough"? I feel like I'm baring my soul when I display my glass work to the public and it's been difficult.
Now I am soaring on this emotional high. I set the goal to become represented by a gallery 3 short weeks ago, and yesterday it came true! I did not expect it to happen so fast.
The gallery is Second Street Art Market, located in Monument CO. The owners are wonderful people and I am looking forward to my involvement with them.
Due to other commitments I have, I will be making my first delivery to them on June 14th. Their website is http://www.secondstreetart.com/
My advice to everyone is set goals and keep following your dreams!!!
