 I'm in love with encaustic painting right now... I use the heat gun kind of like a paintbrush.  That's the only way I can describe what I do with this medium.

Love the color and flow of your pieces. They are very organic visually. I have have heard of encaustic painting before and it sounds like a very specialized way of painting and you do it well. I think I have seen some others on here that utilize that techniques  too , but i haven't seen anything like your stuff.

Thank you for the nice complement!  I am using encaustic paints which is beeswax, resin and pigment.  I use various hot tools like blow torches, heat guns and a griddle to keep the paints fluid.  I just love this medium!  :o )
