Sunday, my partner and I hung 9 pieces for a new show in San Francisco's Noe Valley-- I titled it "Everyone Dreams about Heaven". The bright blue color pops nicely against the yellow walls.
The top section is made of 4 24x30 panels, and I have them at $250 ea. The bottom section is made of 5 12x16 panels, and I have them at $125 ea.
I'm a fairly new painter, so don't have name recognition. I've been doing several cafe and restaurant type shows, and selling. In the last show I sold 5 of 7 pieces and gave one away for auction, which then sold. They were all 12x16 and sold for $125 ea.
If you want a better look at the individual pieces, you can look at www.johnnybotts.com
Thanks for suggestions or comments.

My partner and I have a collection of Franciscan "Starburst" china. I love the little starburst pattern scattered throughout, and the great oblong shapes. I painted a pair of ACEOs to pay tribute. I've been making 2.5 x 3.5 ACEOs for awhile. They're fun, and I think the small size lets me be more free without "worrying" if I'm doing the right thing.

This week I'm getting ready to hang a show--yay! but I took time to paint a few of these small guys for fun.

First blog here on Art Scuttlebutt, so I'm looking around. Nice to see an art community online.
