The more one listens to the dismal news each day, the more firmly I believe that we artists should use this time to push out new boundaries and do different things which will help us when the economy improves again.  Otherwise one goes crazy!  At least like that, I feel that one is doing something positive, more or less under one's personal control and choice.  Unlike the feeling of having very little personal power when I hear of these billions and trillions of dollars  flowing out in one's name, in spite of oneself.
