Revised sketch for double portrait

I think this sketch is very well done.  The compositional elements flow smoothly and guide my eyes around the page.  I have to agree with belcherf's comment, though; there is one interruption in the flow where the double helix comes out of the side of the paper and points toward the woman's head.  I'm not sure it works as a way to lead me toward the couple.  Since the other elements aren't linear, a possibility may be to try adding the DNA strand closer to the title that is linear.

Excellent detail for a sketch!

I like this one better than the previous one, you definitely used your space more effectively. I think everything flows nicely except for the DNA strand, that looks like its kind of just floating in space whereas the other things flow better into each other. Over all i think it looks great, nice work!

Jared,

I like it! Very nice work. I really like the composition - the angle created by the woman, the man and then up to the two folks with the microscope. Will you be painting this as well?

This is the revised prelim sketch that has a greater flow to it and incorporates additional elements such as the infant, signifying the importance of the Finley's life work. Tell me what you think! - Jared
