Jared, I really love the overall color of this..great work! My eye moves around checking out the distant town, then up to the storn, the distant rain, then kind of rest in the golden fields. Makes me want to sit there and feel the cool wind on my face.

I have spent a lot of time in the South... north Georgia for a year, then north of Chattanooga during my grade school and high school days. I love the old South.

This piece was inspired by the classic southern thunderstorm. My wife and I are from the south and when I lived out west for a cuople of years, it was the thunderstorms that I missed the most, followed closely by Waffle Houses! I love rolling hills and their complimentary golden warmth. It is approx. 11x22" acrylic on unprimed birch panel. I used Golden Acrylics. - Jared
