hey jude - Thanks for visiting my gallery recently. It's funny that you characterized Ollie North as a "murdering scum-bag" because that was actually a small theme in the accompanying black and white portraits that I did. (check it out: there's Saddam, OJ, and Ted Kennedy) In all, there are currently 12 pieces planned for the series - 6 BW's (already posted in my gallery) and 6 Colors. The series is called "The Entitled - The Unentitled". I hope you'll check it out again soon. Take care - Jared

Great portrait of one of someone who embodies true courage! True courage to lie to the American people, export terrorism, and being responsible for the murder of thousands of civilians in Nicaragua.  True courage?

Great portrait of one of someone who embodies true courage! Well done. In a culture that, generally speaking, lacks courage, Ollie was refreshing.

What makes you decide to draw who you draw, when it's a recognizable face?  I suppose if you didn't paint people we could recognize we wouldn't know whether you were capturing the likeness or not.   You captured him perfectly, except he looks "nicer" in your portrait than the public's perception of him.
