Thank you, Taylor.  Just some tidbits about this piece.  The entire upper 1/3 is not paint.  It is chemically-induced oxidation that creates patinas of color against the metal.  The lower portion of the copper in the upper third has some glazes of oil over it, so you can still see underlying drips thru it.  Took me quite a while to develop this process by trial and error...lot of fun though.  The vast majority of this painting was done with a large spackling knife  (palette knives are just too small).  Anyway, thanks for visitng and for your kind words.
