I LOVE this painting - the strong colors, shapes and composition.  So seemingly simple, but so powerful.  It reminds me of the work of a California colorist I have just discovered - Gail Morris.   I am trying to move in this direction, but I find it difficult to get away from putting in the details.  Thanks for the inspiration.  Carmela
