This work is on canvas supported by 2'x2 stretchers.. gallery wrapped.  the surrounding flowers are fabric that I glued with a gel medium on to the canvas and then just painted with gold and then highlighted.  the center poppies I painted..all with acrylic paints.

when the painting was purchased the buyers sent me a photo about 3 weeks later...they had it professionally framed with a gold frame that had the bluish green highlights that are in this painting.  the frame had small carved flowers in it..  It really looked good where I had assumed that something like that would be too much!

Hi Kara,  Love this piece.  Every piece has such a freshness to it.  You really have tapped into a deep reservoir of creativity.

This is beautiful. It would be a beautiful porcelain plate, or wallpaper, or on a tile.  Do you reproduce your work, or only sell originals?  I don't know how you could get the affect of your textures in a print.
