Very Nice! Clouds can be a challenge--these look great.

Yes, the border of the medallion is gold leaf and then I used a stencil of filagree to apply the size on the inner medallion. The texture was soooooo bumpy on the surface of the medallion, I couldn't do the filagree by hand.

is that gilding in that mural too?  i gild, and do the occasional mural as well as faux and specialty finishes... this is an awesome ceiling.
