I just love this one . . . The simplicity of the white outline of the apples against  the colors you chose . . .everything works

I can relate to that. I did an abstract piece of a youngster walking down a flight of stairs but I wasn't pleased with it at all no matter how hard I tried. So, I created something else over it just because I was angry and very tired of trying to get things right. Now, when I look at it I have fun because I always see different objects and patterns in it, which is a complete turn around from what was really going on in my head when I made it.

So, It's funny that you say that about your piece because it reminds me of what I went through!

I adore this painting. It looks like you found and traced an organized image within the abstraction, which is really neat ^_^

Thanks! - it does have a history...a history of frustration! It ended up being art by accident. I was trying to do an abstract cityscape with metallics and it wasn't working at all. So in complete frustration I smudged all the colors together and somehow I saw the apples come through. Strange how that works sometimes.

Thanks for the comment on my painting! My pallette is sometimes bright, and sometimes dark.  It is not really my typical clor choice.... I really like this peice.  I think the feeling of the layering and the history of the painting revealed in spots.  The white line has that rough scratched out feel.  I like that!

Thank you for the comments about my paintings.  I'm intriqued with yours..I enjoy the abstract pieces.  These apples are strong.  A few questions...what media is used for the white and what media are you working in for your work?
