this is my favorite in your gallery.  I like the contrast of the strong color in the rocks with the very subtle colors in the sea and sky.

The pastel painting is a coastal scape from the Maine Acadia State park as seen driving the loop.  It is a 12 x 18 inch painting which was completed after a visit on a stormy June 2006 day.

This is really dramatic and beautiful...is it the coast of Maine? What is the size and is it oil?  Great job! --Jane
