The dandelion will still be around even after everything else here is gone.

I LOVE "Tales of Mystery and Imagination Edgar Allan Poe" by Alan Parsons. Once I read your profile I had to get it out and I'm listening to it even as I type.

I enjoyed all your work. Keep it coming...      -Don

This particular painting has a lot behind it. Its about the life altering changes in America as farms went from brute force, to steam power, and on to personal gas powered implements, this culminating with the gas can representing our current total dependence on that particular product. The storm clouds on the horizon represent the uncertainty of the changes then and now. The crocks pointing out the change from substantial products of craftsmen, to their replacement by cheap plastic imitations. A path leads out the back of the shed, with the promise of spring, and yet leading to great uncertainty.......Fill in the rest of the blanks for yourself! Whats up with the dandelion??.....Craig
