This is wonderful!   I was just in AZ last year and have been there several times.  One of my favorite States.  Love your brushwork and colors.  What is your brand of oils that you use?

Really nice brush work; I really admire it.  For the past couple years, I have been trying to make the transition from detailed realism to an impressionist style.  I love the impasto paint application, it works well with fur and there are very few wildlife artists who do anything other than photo realism.

There is a bear's face in the rock on the left.  Did you put it there?
