you waste nary a drop to nail this figure.  The delicate highlight are something of restraint there.  Is this done with pencil lines or just straight watercolor?

Lovely!!!!!!! Simply wonderful composition, nice washes.  I can't stop looking at the dark negative spaces built around her.  Very warm and comforting....
