I really like this one... I keep straining to get a closer view.  I get more of an aquatic-luminescent sense, but I can see the fireflies too.  Very nice.  Oh, I just noticed Kelly's comment... I would agree with the surprise piece too --that adds a little "ah-ha" moment to what you created.

Wow I love your work!  Your use of color and texture is fantastic.  Im blown away!  And I also really like your title, i was expecting it to have something to do with water, but July Firefly totaly caught me off guard and I love it!
