Me, too.  Reflections are such a challenge.  I sometimes turn the paper upside down to paint the reverse in the water.  But, John Salminen had an interesting tip in a recent workshop.  He said to use downward strokes for the water, coming back with some horizontal lifting and streaking.

Thanks.  Mostly winsor newton.  other favs are Maimeri blue verde (verde blue?) and avignon orange which is great, slightly redder than burnt sienna. and Daniel Smith Undersea green.  fav yellow is new gamboge.

Simply gorgeous! Not all that easy to get colors to pop using this medium.What brand paint do you use?
