Thanks for your comments!  Myfavorite part of this piece is the muzzle on the foreground horse.  I don't own horses, but I work in an equine clinic, and I never get tired of looking at them or wanting to draw them.  The color in your pieces is wonderful.

This piece was from a photo I had taken when we visited Mackinaw Island.  These horses worked all day transferring people up and down the street in hot and humid weather.  Being an animal lover, I had compassion for them and painted them.  They were tired of the trails and needed to rest.

 I'm working and daydreaming about having your life! hahah...How did you finally make the transition from full time working to full time artist? 

 I love this picture, what a wonderful composition and beautiful use of contrasts.  Not to mention the drawing!!!
