I love mixing the acrylic paints, and blending them into various intensities, hues, values and other colors. I use alot of paint so it is thick and creamy. It's like painting with butter.  I see the image and shape on the white paper or canvas before I paint it, and then I start.  I usually have a plan, but I always try to push it further to add more variety, drama or whatever else I think it may need for the painting to say, "done". I mix the paint right on the paper or canvas. Many people love these small paintings.  I plan on going larger with this vignette and concept, and see what happens.

Hi Deb! Thank you for your encouragin words!  I can't wait to make my transition into full time art!
