All the comments below are exactly right, as soon as i saw this one the first thing that came to mind was WOW, this piece evokes a lot of spirituality. Makes me hope that one day i could actually see this vision on earth. Its as if God is coming out of the heavens to take us on to glory land.

I love this one!  It evokes spirituality and the love of God.  It truly is beautiful.  The light in this is "heavenly".      Deb

CArmela, I love how the dark foreground anchors all the heavenly activity above it, great composition technique.  the colors are beatuiful and it has a real ethereal look and feel.  Good job!

I'm getting ready for a big gallery opening this weekend and I'll be online more after that!  you can check out my website to see pictures of the beatuiful Gallery C.. www.sandymedearis.com

I've posted a new painting on there and would love your comment, I don't think it is finished yet, but I put a goal of posting a new painting to my home page on the first of everymonth, so it had to go up as is, until I get time to go back and in work on some more areas!

Keep up the great work! Sandy and thanks for your post!

Gorgeous!  Perfectly balanced and very interesting to look at.  Peaceful & beautiful - like the Northern Lights!

thanks for your comments.  I wanted to do a painting to donate to a fundraiser at my church.  This painting is based on Genesis 1:7-8 and so I had that in mind as I started the washes, but I didn't know exactly what would happen.  You never do with watercolor, which is the joy and the uncertainty of it.  I'm glad you like it.  Carmela

I kinda expect something supernatural to come out of this painting...very neat "happy little happenings" there!  Tell me...do you plan these things out?
