This thing looks about 11x15? You probably told me the sizes you paint, but I think this could be big....Pollackly .  You know, get a roll of 4-foot paper and big foam brushes and have at it....Then, after a hard day of action-painting at the studio, wander over to the Cedar Bar and pick a fight with De kooning.

OK, in your imagination maybe, but that's what this painting says that to me.  Less Zen like and more of a riot! I like them both, but lean more toward the energy in this one....maybe because I had too much caffeine today.

I love the looseness and color in this.  It has such a sense of energy.  Do you paint on location? (not too much in the winter I'm guessing!).  We spent four years in Chicago and really enjoyed our trips to Wisconsin - lots of beauty and good for biking.
