When I see people, I think the best of them to start with. It's all down hill for the most part as I get to know more and more about them. This painting addresses my irritation of watching people just drift through life doing nothing with the gifts they are given. Sometimes it just looks like people are living just to get to death!

It's as irritating to me as when an insect bites you on the face... or between the fingers or toes! That itch that no matter how much you scratch it, you just can't get it to go away!

Mattaku is Japanese for Damn.

Mushi is Japanese for insects.
