80" x 48" mixed medium on canvas.
I'm about to get this painting back. My ex-wife owns it because she asked (ever so politely... NOT!) for so many of my paintings when we got divorced. I'm only getting it back because it's so big.

This painting is about divorced couples and how some of them are so intent on the destruction of getting along. They WANT to be bitter and angry. Want to keep their prior loved soul in pain.
Imagine, if you will, that your ex holds out an idea. Something that is entirely their idea and it just makes sense, so you agree to it. That agreement comes to the person that suggested it as a shock and so they destroy their own idea rather than have that harmony with their past. This would happen with my exwife with her first husband all the time. I'm really excited to get this back.
