What you said was very touching and observant. Not many people would actually take the time and watch others in such a manner and so intimately. Love your new work!

8" x 10" mixed medium on color paper.

There was a woman on the train as I went to work in Tokyo. She was fairly attractive, wore very conservative, almost plain clothes. She wore flat shoes and had on very little makeup. It was clear that she was doing everything she could to blend in and not stand out.......

But......

She had a voluptuous figure. For those of you who have not been to or lived in Japan. Women in general do not have a large chest, so when they do, they tend to stand out.... and what's worse is the Japanese culture has pretty much said it's just fine for men to acknowledge that. As I looked around this woman, who just wanted to be left alone, I saw all these men just staring at her. Drooling over her breasts and her form. I felt such pity for her as you could tell she was not trying to stand out in that way at all. Hence.... "A conservative and a body"
