I saw a movie recently that addressed this issue so well. It talked about how we experience the 80% that a sustained relationship offers but 20% is always missing. That 20% is impossible to obtain because it's things like newness. Freshly falling in love and having that one person consume your mind. So many divorces (I feel) come from people chasing after that 20, not appreciating that they've got 80 as it is!... then going to that 20 and realizing all they've lost.

This and a mower is talking about that closeness. That wanting and craving for something physically intense and passionate, but then also about the other things in life that give simple joys.

Bringing flowers to your partner.

Cleaning the house or washing their car.

... Having them come home to a house with the lawn mowed.

Deep down... don't most of us really want "This.... and a mower."
