Crap! What a bio!  Do you ever sleep?

I love Asheville, BTW.  It's a pretty special place.  Ignore my diatribe on your blog.  You don't need any advice.  You know what you are doing.  You may want to keep a finger or fingernail in the teaching side, though. It's a pretty special vocation for those who are good at it and  I think you will end up missing it if you don't teach a class or seminar once a year or so. At least for me, it guarantees that I see other people.

Just my thoughts.

I really enjoyed your work in mixed media.  I, too, was a high school teacher for a short time, really enjoyed it. I have been working a bit in mixed media.  As you can see by my gallery my focus has been on painting, specifically landscape.  I have been experimenting with mixed media and painting.  Your paintings are an inspiration. They seem small, but I see they are quite large. They have a mystery and intrigue that seize the spirit! P.S. North Carolina sounds fabulous.  You have been having some tough weather in the north East.
