I simply had to share!  I just sold my first photograph... Trunkscape!  And what somehow makes it even more special is that it is my first sale to someone I do not know.  It should not give me a greater sense of validation (ie.NOW I am a professional photographer/artist) but I have to shamefully admit that it does...a bit.  I can't help it.  Less than 1 year ago I had a completely different career that I loved, but no longer quite fit me.  I jumped off the cliff into the world of professional artist and I can say unequivicably (sp?) that I have made the right choice.  And all of the people supporting me along the way--family, friends, other artists--continue to inspire me to keep reaching.  I love the feeling of being able to do anything, and I hope I can pass this along by example to my son as he grows up.
