Excellent new drawings!  I particularly like the portraits with the oversize and opaque glasses.  Strong work, guy, keep it up.

OK.  Now I know what I keep forgetting to do.  I gotta get my ass out there and draw.  Thanks for putting up such a plethora of exciting work, especially your sketch books.  It still like "Momma" the best.

You might be surprised.  I do a lot of photography in old bars.

Adam.  Hmmnnn.  Those are my two favorite models in that piece.  Adam/Christ is a young man who worked for me for five years as my sole model.  We both did a lot of growing together.  I miss him now that he's moved on--and I'm still trying to find someone to replace him.  The man in the background who is portraying God, well....that's my closest friend and artististic mentor.  He's a fabulous sculptor as well as a rebel bad boy biker and it the man who set me on the path to photographing biking events and hanging out with Vietnam vets...in leathers in old biker bars, I might add.   He opened my eyes to a whole new world, taught me what it's like to reach out for a little freedom, and helped me realize just how trapped I was in my own little life.  I'm working to remedy that. And he models for me quite a bit now...nearly every major work I've done with him has been selected for some sort of national exhibition.  At any rate, I brought those two guys into the studio at the same time, and we had a blast working on the resource photographs for the piece.  It was like having my own wierd little family together, and the first time in my life I'd ever felt like I had a real one of my own.  My youngest model brought his girlfriend with him, and afterwards we grilled steaks and had a party.  What a way to work on art!

Your drawings are getting stronger and more mature ... and their other-worldly character still keeps my interest.  Good job!

Thanks!  There's a history to that Adam piece.  I really like your black and white work...it's very strong.  So how do we find out number 5?

No, I'll be beta-testing this new online conan game due out soon.
