Abstract Expressionism

01/23/2008 17:30:22 / other

It is already afternoon my time and it feels like I did not even start my day.

I am an abstract expressionist. That means in my terms that I love expressing my feelings and thoughts abstractively through the canvas. I love the colors, and the lines that dictate my work. The work does not ask me, It is formed into the canvas.

Here are some sites that might give you some clarity on the subject.

If you want to relate to the subject of art in general, or to abstract expressionism, please write to me.

Yael, did you start out from the beginning in the AE style?

There are a few Rothko paintings here in D.C......I remember being floored in the presence of them, though I normally would flip past them pretty quickly in a book. In person the are very powerful which is what I am most drawn to in a painting.
