Next art process?

01/21/2008 17:32:33 / other

Hi everyone,

I decided to try and write something almost every day. It can be short or long. Mostly about art, my art or art of others.

So today’s topic is the fear of starting new phases in the art process. I recently finished the series “My scream,” and as usual painting but feel like I am stepping on the same place, like not knowing where to go next in my process. I think I am afraid of trusting the process.

Usually once in the studio, the artwork dictates. I use the winter and the cold weather as an excuse, and I am writing a novel, so it is not that the creativity process is stopped. Maybe I need to write to get to the next studio part. If you have any comments, similar experiences, write to me.

Fear not!  Just jump in with all fours.  Think of the fun and you can learn something along the way.  All I have to do is get to the easel and pick up a brush.

Go forth into the world my child and create.  Do  Be  Experience  Fear?  There is no fear.  You are a bold, indpendant, out spoken artist who gets up every morning and challenges life to knock on your door.   me
