The star doesn't mean anything. Originally we thought of using it to help us contact potential "Moderators" for the site.

Hi, all the stars do is indicate how much you are using the website .. if you add more art to your profile you get more stars, if you add more blogs you get more stars, if you write more messages you get more stars... I dont know why they have the stars other than maybe its suppose to motivate you to visit and participate in the website more.
