Figure Sketches

I just uploaded a couple of watercolor sketches from my weekly life drawing session.  These were quickly sketched with pen and ink, then I went back in later with watercolor, just playing around to see what happened.  Lots of fun.  I'll upload more over the next few days.  Let me know what you think.

I did the watercolor several days after the session with the model.  I find that when I work with the model, I paint the colors/values/shapes that I see, but if I do the watercolor at a different time, I don't feel a need to make it realistic.  Thanks for your enthusiastic note!

Wow, SKip! These are lovely! Dynamic and graceful, they are fabulous!  I am really inspired.  Did you go back in with the WC after the session with the figure or did you do it during the session?
