Workshop

I took a wonderful one day workshop today at the home/studio of Vladimir Zhikhartsev, a local artist. He painted his demo of a winter scene, a stream partially frozen over, with rolling snow mounds and light and shadow. The theme of the workshop was "Signs of Spring ". I did a painting of Snowdrop flowers, and with his excellent guidance, I ended up being quite pleased with it. It will be posted within a few hours tonight. It was a blast, and certainly fired up my inspiration!
