How funny!  Our youngest basset (2 years old) still loves to play with empty plastic bottles.  Oh yes!  It does make quite the racket and he thinks it's great, especially when we are on the phone.  The older two bassets have a look of disdain, well I'm interpreting here, but they aren't interested in the "puppy's" joy of making noise and playing with this plastic bottle.  I must admit my husband and I find it VERY AMUSING  and I agree that is therapeutic.
