Mondays

07/07/2008 06:32:21 / happy

It's Monday. Two years ago, this meant the start of the work week for me as the Clinical Director at the local VNA. And though I loved my job, Mondays meant five days of human  crisis, scheduling with an ever diminishing nursing workforce, disease, recovery or death.

Now, as a full-time artist, Mondays are as awesome as any other day of the week.

You're living the American Dream. My wife and I have our own business but I only have time to paint part time. Maybe down the line when we don't have as many expenses I can paint more often. Then again, if I painted more often now I could make the extra money so I wouldn't have to worry about the expenses as much. Just curious Alison, how many paintings do you produce and sell each month?

Congrats!  It's great you are now a full time artist.  That is one of my goals, as Mondays currently are the start of a work week for me.  I love computer programming, but I think the freedom to be a full time artist and every day is just as awesome as the rest would be GREAT!

Happy for you!
