Hi risk takers, Happy Valentines Day!

I downloaded "Wanderings", my first acrylic mixed media piece so everyone could take a look. Please feel free to tell me what you think, what is wrong with it, what is okay. I feel exposed, but that's what it is about, sharing your art with other artists.

Today I worked on a second acrylic mixed media painting. I used seaweed, sand from the beach. I felt childlike glee creating the picture. Is this normal? What is "normal" anyway.

As a creative person it's frustrating when you hit a snag while trying to achieve something. And not to be able to vent to your spouse and get a hug or a response of encouragement would be all the more frustrating. But as you can see, you're not alone here. Someone will always be there to pick you up :-) The next day usually brings renewed focus and I'm sure you'll get it figured out. From: Analagous 02/15/2008 10:22:30 Lisaabeth,   Why not join the critique group in groups and have it ctitiqued over there.  Better to have it done in a place designated for it rather than  on our pages where we all send people to veiw them like family,  friends and potential clients.    The critique group is up and running.  Ann
