I recently read the last Art Calendar.  I always get excited about learning new things and in this bad economy, let other magazines lapse but kept up on yours. 

Something to me was missing.  I have always enjoyed and learned so much from Carolyn Blakeslee, I looked for her writings.  Where did she go?  Is she going to be in further issues?  Her humanistic touch was important to me.  I always felt like she was digging in the trenches with the rest of us and offering as much help as she could.  If she is on holiday she deserves it, but if she is not, I am saddened and dissapointed.
