I've just returned from a meeting with a potential corporate sponsor, the first face to face with the public relations director and the CEO. We had a friendly chat over my portfolio and have tentatively agreed to  fund my solo two month show of 24 pieces through their  purchase of two of my pieces if I agree to donate a third piece to be auctioned off for charity at the end of the show. A no brainer!

I am so excited. I get work sold to a private collection, a solo exhibition, money to get all the framing, etc. and press exposure for the auction. This is a great way to flesh out my resume; definitely win-win. 

I have worked very hard to get this contact and am so happy it seems to be working out. Can't wait to get to work.
