Painting Daily

03/27/2008 08:41:25 / full of life

Has anyone joined a Daily Painters' blog...it seems like fabulous discipline and a great way to get feedback.  Does anyone sell paintings there?  What do you recommend as a daily painting site?  Thanks

Uhhh...that was supposed to be "...such JOY" not "such job"  in email below.

Now that warmth and green have returnedto Wisconsin, I am experiencing such job going out to the woods/rivers and painting plein air.  The time disappears and I'm fully absorbed & immersed in the landscape. I;ve painted the same scene for 3 days now...still don't have it right, but learning much from the attempts.

ANyone else love plein air?  Do you finish in the studio?  Do you ever do the same scene over?

I dont paint every day but I paint A LOT and if you find out something more about daily blogging I am curious but I dont want to be forced to do it every single day plus I dont have something to say every single day!

I heard about www.dailypainter.com but they want you to have established yourself as a blogger for 4 mos before you join- and they recommend bloggers.com  I have never blogged, so I didn't try it- and they would like to see several (if not every day) pieces posted each week.  I don't have enough time after work right now to finish a piece a day- but I think it's a good idea for keeping you motivated.
