Deb, Thanks for the reading tip. I am not much of a reader but I'll look it up. Thanks.

Have you read, "The Shack"?  I am reading it right now and it has given me a new understanding of God's presence and reality in our lives. It has changed my faith in a new way-for the better. (I think. Ha!  At this point in my life I am beginning to think that the older I get, the more I do not know.)  It's a short book but I think you may like it.             Deb

I share the same conviction that what ever talent I have comes from the Lord. That being an artist is a calling, a vocation.

I also appreciate that you art is not "churchy," but in a celebration and exploration of faith in a way the can be appreciated on a secular level as well. You have some very creative imagery and beautiful technique.

I look forward to see more.

Hi!

Thanks for the compliment on my ACEO oil painting "Fall Tree Perspective"!  I loved painting a tree from that viewpoint!  It really is mesmerizing.   Just a simple turn of the head and the world looks completely different, ay?

Keep on creating that beautiful stuff!!!

Wishing you the very best,

Thanks for visiting my site and the positive comments on my work.  The piece you spoke of does sparkle some as it has some gold iridescent pastel in the center.  The whole abstract thing is fairly new to me.  Really only the last 2-3 years.  Don't know why I didn't do it sooner as it is now what I love doing the best.  Guess the timing just wasn't right.  That is life.
