Good Health Insurance for Artists???
DATE: 06/25/2008 23:12:11 / MOOD: full of life

Hello Lovelies,

I am inquiring if anyone knows of some good health insurance plans available for artists.  I recently changed jobs (restaurant server) and my new place doesn't provide insurance options until after a year of employment (hopefully I can quit before then because I am selling so many paintings!)  I would appreciate input if you have some.  I have been looking online, but it is overwhelming with all the information out there.  Thanks for your help and happy painting...

art expo NYC 2008
DATE: 03/13/2008 20:23:18 / MOOD: full of life

Hi Lovelies!

I wanted to give you the full blown post show report on art expo NYC 2008!  It was a FANTASTIC show!  The buzz and excitement about my new beach scenes was over the top!  Everybody raved!  I sold some work and I was picked up by the Arnould Gallery in Marblehead, Massachusetts.  I made LOTS of great contacts and leads who I have been ongoingly updating.  It's all very exciting.

I also have to say that working with the art expo people was a real pleasure.  They are professional, courteous, and follow through on every detail.  A true delight.  I have also made several post show sales of my Limited Edition Prints on my website www.heatherrippert.com !! WOO HOO!!!  I also had some friends from this site come by and say hello!  Big thanks to Lisabeth!  Thanks for the ongoing support and comments from all of you!  YOU ROCK!!!

Jack White's Art Books
DATE: 01/30/2008 19:02:28 / MOOD: full of life

Hi Creative Spirits!

I keep sending little individual notes about Jack's books to artists in the community, so I figured I might as well write a blog!  Have you all read these books?  I would suggest you RUN, and DON'T WALK to get them.  When I started the 1st book, I was immediately moved to tears over and over again.  It was like God had dropped the book of information I had been searching for for years, right into my lap.  I am currently reading his 4th art book while I am busy preparing for the art expo NY.  Just go to www.senkarik.com click books and order The Mystery of Making It.  You won't be sorry!

Happy Reading,

Heather Rippert
