Ayway I like the title and the subject. Mujeres is better than chicas, thanks for expanding my vocab. Unfortunately my other word, "chingaderas", for which I never learned the literal translation, was reserved for loose tools and stray women.
Yes I do get inspired by the landscape. I gre up in Calif. and I think that the hills there still tend to play in my imaginative landscapes. My trip to Belieze was memorable, but hasn't shown up in any work....it must take a while to get into your blood.
Very nice work! When I first saw your work, it reminded me of Luis Jiménez - not that your art is the same, just a reminder. You have a great sense of composition, and I enjoy your facial expressions. Your highlights are very fine...
Thank you! I am continually amazed by the rich colors and moving portraits on your site. The nativity you just posted is awesome. I think of how the masters repainted biblical scenes in their contemporary garb, and see this image in that same vein. Cup of coffee there below the angel-baby's wing?
Hi, Thank you for visiting my site. I am glad that you did, because I am so glad to see your work. Your work is beautiful. I look forward to learning more from your brush strokes and color.
I am curious about your little black bird friend. Is there a story to him?
